Amazing Grace Viewing Platform
The Amazing Grace Viewing Platform was opened in 2013 and is at the end of the Amazing Grace Walk, which connects the platform with the Amazing Grace Park approximately 1 km away.
It was built on an existing concrete platform and looks out over the beautiful Lough Swilly. The floor of the viewing platform features a mosaic designed by local artist Andrew Garvey-Williams
There are information points at the platform with details of the significance of John Newton’s arrival in Lough Swilly. Other information points can be found along the walk and at the Amazing Grace Park next to the tourist information office.
