Buncrana Heritage Trail - 3.6 to 4.3 km easy

Buncrana Heritage Trail

There are several locations to park on the shorefront for the Buncrana Heritage Trail, with the official start at the car park beside Castle avenue.

The walk is 3.6 km in length with an optional 0.7 km walk along the Buncrana Coastal Walk to Ned’s Point Fort.

There are several interpretive boards along the walk explaining the historical significance of the area you have reached. Check the map of the route in the photos for the locations of each board.
