Profile
Crohy Head Sea Arch
Crohy Head Sea Arch is a natural rock formation located on the Crohy Peninsula about 1 km from the Maghery village and is a popular tourist attraction due to its unique geological features.
The sea arch is formed by the erosion of the cliffs over time and provides stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and surrounding landscapes. Visitors to the sea arch can enjoy scenic walks along the coast and take in the breathtaking views of the rugged Irish coastline.
The area is also popular for birdwatching, as the cliffs provide a habitat for a variety of seabirds, including gulls, guillemots, and kittiwakes. There is a small parking area next to the path down to the arch or alternatively park in the village of Maghery and walk up to it via the quiet country road.
