Culdaff Walk – Sli na Slainte
The Culdaff Walk, Slí na Sláinte route is one of the Irish Heart Foundations, signposted walking route in the heart of the community and is suitable for all ages and abilities and it goes from the heart of the picturesque village along the Culdaff River to Culdaff’s very own Blue Flag Beach. The walk is 1.7 km long so 3.4 km there and back. You can extend the walk by walking along the beach and around the top, then follow the river back towards the village, this part is unmarked but does rejoin the main path.
At the beach there is a play park which is suitable for young children and the excellent beach has lifeguards during the summer months.
After the walk why not treat yourself to a meal at McGrory’s Hotel, their menu showcases the very best local, seasonal ingredients. The hotel is just around the corner from the start of the walk. Check out the village’s Facebook Page here.
