Eleven Ballyboes

Situated just outside Greencastle, just past the golf course on the road to Stroove. This is a lovely quiet and sheltered beach with fantastic views over Lough Foyle. There is a small car park down the lane overlooking the bay.

The area around here has been investigated by archaeologist’s in an attempt to conduct an archaeological survey and excavation of a submerged Mesolithic landscape, you can read all about it here
