Fanad Lighthouse

Fanad Head Lighthouse is a working lighthouse that can be found on Fanad Head overlooking the North Atlantic and Lough Swilly. It is one of the main signature points on the Wild Atlantic Way in County Donegal.

The lighthouse was built in 1817 and has been open to the public since 2016. To book a guided tour of the lighthouse or a stay in any of the three restored lighthouse keeper’s cottages please visit the Fanad Lighthouse website.
