Foyle Valley Greenway
the Foyle Valley Greenway is a 34km route that follows the line of the former Great Northern Railway and takes you on a 5 km purpose-built traffic-free path along the banks of the Foyle River from the Craigavon Bridge to just before the village of Carrigans in Donegal.
It then follows quiet minor roads ideal for cycling all the way to the towns of Lifford and Strabane, you can see the full route here. The Greenway is also the first official cross-border greenway built on the island of Ireland.
