Profile
Inch Cove
At the end of the road on Inch Island there lies the beautiful little beach of Inch Cove on Inch Island. There is only a small amount of parking space available on the grass and beach where the road ends, I would not recommend the beach for camper vans.
The cove is usually very sheltered and is excellent for swimming in you will see local residents using the beach here to launch their jet skis and kayaks etc.
Activities
Fishermen can often be found on the pier catching mainly mackerel. At high tide, during the summer you will find local kids having fun pier jumping into the Swilly.
Besides the pier, you have Inch Fort which was built in 1812, during the Napoleonic War. It was abandoned in 1905 and is on private land so it is currently inaccessible to the general public.
