Lakeside Walk
The Lakeside Walk is a 3.5km linear route that takes you along a gravel path from the Visitor Centre and follows the shoreline of the Lough Veagh all the way to Glenveagh Castle. A short distance from the visitor centre the route crosses the Owencarrow River and you get beautiful views of the Lough as you continue on.
At around 2.5 km you reach the start of the Lough Inshagh Walk which will take you up into the surrounding hills. Just before reaching the castle the end of the walk takes you through some of the stunning castle gardens.
You can also hire bicycles from Grass Routes E-Bike Hire beside the visitor centre and cycle along the route to the castle at the castle you can then continue to cycle the Waterfall Trail and then onto The Bridle Path Walk.
