Leghowney Loop Walk

The Leghowney Loop Walk is a scenic 7 km looped walk that starts from the Leghowney Community Hall and climbs for 2km through the Coillte forest and up to the Meenadreen Windfarm and then loops around via the old school house. This trail can be found a little way off the main road from Ballybofey to Donegal Town after the Barnsemore Gap.

From the top, you get amazing views over Donegal Bay, also along the way you will find several seating areas with information boards. It should take around 1.5 to 2 hours to complete the trail.
