Profile
Maghera Beach and Caves
Maghera Beach is a stunning and picturesque beach with lovely white sand that is only a short drive from the Assaranca Waterfall and the town of Ardara.
N.B. The caves are only accessible at low tide so please check the tide times here before trying to see the caves. Do not swim at this beach as there are dangerous rip tides. For swimming go to nearby Nairn and Potnoo Beach which also has lifeguards during the summer months.
The only access is via a car park that’s run by a local. There is a small charge of €3 for parking and €0.50 to use the toilet.
For local information check out the Towns Facebook page here.
