Profile
Magheraclogher Beach in Bunbeg
Magheraclogher Beach is probably most famous for the iconic images of the wreck of Bád Eddie an abandoned fishing boat that was shipwrecked in the 1970s.
This is a beautiful beach with views of Mount Errigal in the background. The beach is shallow and is OK for paddling but do not go swimming further in the channel as there the bathing is dangerous.
Activities and sights in and around the beach (Click on the links below for more details):-
- Bunbeg Walks
- Trek and Paddle Donegal
- Amharclann Ghaoth Dobhair
- Mount Errigal
- Dunlewey Kayaking
- Errigal View Pet Zoo
