An Earagail – Errigal

An Earagail stands at 751 meters and is the highest mountain in Donegal. It is in the Derryveagh Mountains, which is also known as the Seven Sisters range.

It is a popular spot for hikers with a 4.2 km round trip to the top from the car park. It should take just over 2 hours to complete the route and is a great day out for hikers offering some of the most spectacular views in Ireland.

The mountain towers high above the picturesque village of Dunlewey and Lough Dunlewey where on calm days you will see the mountain reflect off the still waters.
