Muckish railway walk
The Muckish railway walk is a 9.4 km linear trail that follows a section of the old Letterkenny to Burtonport railway line past Muckish Mountain.
The walk is close to both the town of Falcarragh and the village of Creeslough. and has spectacular views over the mountain and Lough Agher.
Parking can be found here at Fiddler’s bridge and at the trailhead at the Miner’s path near Creeslough.
The town of Falcarragh has a Facebook page which you can see here. NB there is no space for parking cars at the Beltany Townland at the most southerly point of the trail.
