Porthaw Beach
Porthaw Beach is a lovely little beach found about halfway (1.5 km) along the Buncrana Shore Path Coastal Walk. It is not far from Ned’s Point Fort and the Lough Swilly Lifeboat Station.
The closest parking is at the Lifeboat Station at Ned’s Point you can park there and it is only a short walk. But it is well worth walking from Buncrana.
The beach is very clean and although the path beside it gets very busy the beach is usually pretty quiet and is perfect for letting the kids run around.
