Stragill Beach
The beach lies to the north of Buncrana and can be reached by car directly or you can find it at the end of the Buncrana Coastal Walk. The beach has beautiful views over Lough Swilly over to the Fanad Peninsula.
The beach is very long and secluded even though the walk from Buncrana can be very busy.
When the tide is out you can walk for what seems like miles around the headland at the northern end of the beach, just be careful of giving yourself enough time to get back, before the tide comes back in.
