The Strand beach and Mill Bay

This beach on Inch Island is a lovely little beach with fantastic views over Lough Swilly. At low tide, you can walk along the shoreline to Inch castle and you will often find people out walking their dogs.

The car park for the beach is directly beside the beach and also has great views so is often used by camper vans as a tranquil overnight stop. You will find somewhere to eat in the village of Fahan like the Red Door Restaurant.

Close to the beach is a lovely Shivon Soap where you can buy 100% handmade soaps. On the island, you will also find the Inch Wildfowl Reserve walk, an 8 km looped walk around the wildfowl reserve.
