Irish country music’s Derek Ryan brings his 2020 Acoustic Tour to The Backroom in McGrory’s this June

After releasing his ‘Hits’ album late last year, which featured a collection of Derek Ryan’s number one hits and fan-favourite classics, the Irish country singer’s unique ‘Songwriter Show’ returns to venues across Ireland this Summer in a stripped-back, Acoustic environment, giving Derek’s devoted fans the opportunity to hear their favourite ‘hits’ up-close and personal.

Multi-recipient of ‘Songwriter of the Year’ award, Derek will be accompanied by his acclaimed band members Ray McLoughin on Piano and Accordion and Kane O’Rourke on Fiddle and Whistle.

The Acoustic Tour has become an annual staple in Derek Ryan’s hectic touring schedule and is said to be a favourite amongst the singer and his fans from all ages alike. Having personally chosen the venues himself where Derek believes has the perfect atmosphere for an intimate gig, the ‘Songwriter Show’ will feature a carefully selected setlist of Derek Ryan’s own original songs, with a few country classics.
