Croithlí / Crolly is a small village that is nestled at the foot of several large hills and spans the Crolly River. It is in both the Gweedore and The Rosses regions of West Donegal. In the village, you can see a lovely little waterfall beside an Irish whiskey distillery on the outskirts of the village. The distillery offers guided tours, you can check out their Facebook page here.
The village of Croithlí / Crolly was home to the Crolly Doll Factory which opened in 1939 and made the renowned handmade Dolls until the factory shut in the 1970s.
