Donegal Town
Donegal Town is located in South Donegal at the mouth of the River Eske which flows out into Donegal Bay. From the 15th to the 17th century, it was the capital of Tír Chonaill, a kingdom controlled by the O’Donnell Clan. Today it is a vibrant town centred around the Diamond where you will find the Four Masters Memorial. The town’s current population is 2618.
