Ballyshannon
The town is located in South Donegal and is one of the oldest towns in Ireland, it was established in 1613 and the town sits on the banks of the river Erne. Amenities in the town include a Lesure centre and The Abbey Arts Centre.
Every June the town hosts the Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival and in August you can go to the Ballyshannon Folk Festival which is the longest-running folk festival in the world. Check out the local Community Facebook page here.
