As you approach the Creevykeel Court Tomb, the imposing structure immediately captures your attention.

Regarded as one of Ireland’s premier Court Cairns, this structure dates back to the 3rd millennium BC. Its construction comprises a wedge-shaped mound, featuring a burial chamber that extends from the centrally located open court.

During the early Christian era, the central court served as a site for iron smelting activities. This Court Tomb invites you on a journey through time, allowing you to connect with Ireland’s ancient roots.
