St John’s Point
St John’s Point is a hidden treasure along the Wild Atlantic Way. Situated between Donegal Town and Killybegs in South Donegal this picturesque peninsula stretches out into the Atlantic Ocean, offering visitors a tranquil escape filled with natural beauty and coastal charm.
At the tip of St. John’s Point stands a striking white lighthouse, a beacon that has guided sailors safely along these rugged shores for generations. The lighthouse’s presence adds an air of maritime history and romance to the area.
You can park at the beach and enjoy the 2km walk out to the lighthouse and the very tip of the peninsula.
