Ballyhiernan Bay

Ballyhiernan Bay on the northern coast of the Fanad Peninsula in Donegal is a stunning ‘Green Coast’ beach and a perfect location for a walk or swim.

The beach is over 2.5km long, there are three parking areas along the beach one at each end and one in the middle. The Bay is backed by sand dunes with rocky headlands on either side.
