Rathmullan
The scenic seaside village of Rathmullan is situated on the Fanad Peninsula on the shore of Lough Swilly.
In the village, you will find a Napoleonic Gun Battery the ruins of an Abbey, a beautiful beach, local walks and play parks.
It is also the location of the ‘Flight of the Earls’ wherein 1607 the last of the Gaelic chiefs left Ireland for the last time. A statue to this event can be found by the shorefront.
