Due to strong tides, it is recommended that you do not go swim or go into the water at this beach, the closest beach for water activities is Downings Beach a few km away

Visitors to the Beach should exercise caution when considering water activities due to strong tides in the area. Swimming or entering the water at Carrigart Beach is not recommended for safety reasons. Instead, if you’re looking to enjoy water activities, it is advisable to head a few km away to Downings Beach.
