Close to the vibrant city of Derry lies a hidden treasure, the Red Brae Woods, an enchanting woodland that invites explorers to step into a world of natural beauty and tranquillity. This idyllic haven offers a respite from the hustle and bustle of city life, drawing nature enthusiasts, walkers, and those seeking a peaceful escape.
This lovely little woodland park is one of several parks in the Faughan Valley Woodland. While walking around the park look out for several animal sculptures that are scattered around the trail. The woodlands are managed by the Woodlands Trust and you can go to their Facebook page here.
