Wainfest 2024
Between the 5th and 13th of October, Wainfest is serving up some cultural delights for children aged 4 – 12 years.
The festival is an annual week-long, countywide arts and book festival dedicated to children, which takes place online and with live events throughout Inishowen and Donegal. One of the main groups in Inishowen hosting events is Spraoi agus Spórt in Carndonagh.

The term “Wain” is a local affectionate word used when talking about a small child (wee one). And we think it’s a great fit for our festival that caters just for them!
