Knockalla Mountain Trail
Hikers embarking on the Knockalla Mountain Trail can expect a moderate to challenging trek featuring steep ascents that offer stunning panoramic views as a rewarding payoff.
Commencing from the car park near the Knockalla Crosses, this 2km route leads you high into the mountains. Follow the road for about 250m and once the road becomes stony, you’ll notice an old grass road on your right. This path guides you all the way up the mountain, where you can take in the amazing views. At the top, you can either retrace your steps back to the car park or keep on going down the other side towards Kerrykeel.
