Glenties
Glenties is a small town in the West of Donegal next to the Blue Stack Mountains and only a short distance from the sea, it has a population of 805. The town has been the winner of Ireland’s Tidy Towns competition in 1958, 1959, 1960, 1962, and 1995. Being surrounded on three sides by mountains the area is a great place to stay for walkers with the Bluestack Way passing through the town.
