Muff Village
Muff Village (Magh) is a busy village which lies directly on the border between Donegal and Derry. Its population in 2016 was 1226. The town has quite a few shops, bars and places to eat.
Wild Ireland is a brand new wildlife sanctuary attraction opened in Oct 2019 and is open to the public. It specialises in animal species that were once native to Ireland, is very close to the village
The North West Greenway from Derry to the village is due to begin in early 2020.
Usually, in the first week of August, the village hosts the annual Muff festival, which is a fantastic community celebration, much loved by locals and visitors alike.
Close by you can find the Morton God Dolmen and the Iskaheen graveyard the burial place of Eógan mac Néill one of the sons of Niall of the Nine Hostages.
