Marina Hamilton Painter and Sculptor
Marina is surrounded by her greatest inspiration – animals. She lives and works on the family farm in St. Johnston, Co Donegal and her studio overlook the River Foyle.
She has always been fascinated with the expressions and individual characters of the farm animals and wildlife she has seen at close quarters.
That insight and great affinity she has with animals is reflected in her painting and sculpture. Whether it is on canvas or in clay Marina captures the attitude and uniqueness of each individual animal. That’s why every piece of sculpture is a one-off, completely hand-built with no moulds.
