Rock Art is where humans have made markings on natural stone, on the Isle of Doagh these date from the Bronze Age.
The art consists of cup and ring marks. They consist of a concave depression pecked into a rock surface and surrounded by concentric circles cut into the stone

the marker on the map below marks a spot on the road where you can park. It can be found in the field on the right-hand side in amongst the gorse bushes.
The field can be very waterlogged so wear waterproof shoes. Also, be respectful of the sites as they are on private land and do not enter if any farm animals are in the fields.
