Clonmany
The village is steeped in history, and dolmens, forts and standing stones dot the landscape around the area
The village is host to the Clonmany festival which is Ireland’s longest-running and best-known festival, held annually during the week of the August public holiday. The Agricultural Show takes place on the Tuesday during the festival, with visitors from all over Inishowen and the Northwest of Ireland coming to enjoy the spectacle.
The annual Seamus Grant Weekend of Traditional Music and culture take part in mid-October in the village.
Just outside the village, there are is some fantastic walking opportunities with the Mamore to StraidTrek 5.7 km and the gentler Waterfall Walk 2 km. Both of these walks can be found with parking, beside the Glen House B&B tearoom and craft shop.
A little further along from the Glen you will reach Tullagh beach a large horseshoe-shaped beach that can have fantastic waves for surfing. There is also an equestrian centre located close to the beach.
A little further north you have the village of Ballyliffen and its famous Golf Courses.
