Lenan Loop Walk
The Lenan Loop walk is a short 1.5 km walk with some spectacular views of the beach and out over the ocean to the Fanad Peninsula.
It follows a path that goes above Lenan Beach along a bog road. The first part of the walk is steep until it reaches some sheep pens.
The path then begins a descent to a viewing area and picnic spot. You then return above the steep coastal cliffs.
The walk should take between 30 to 60minutes and there are some uneven surfaces and climbs so a moderate level of fitness is required. It can also be waterlogged so wear appropriator footwear and clothes.
The path is marked so follow the black markers with green arrows on a white background.
