Milford
Milford is a small town situated just north of Letterkenny in Donegal. Originally, the town was called Ballynagalloglagh and had a population of approximately 1000.
The town is home to The Colmcille Trail, a lovely 7km walking route which starts in the town and takes up around Lough Colmcille.
It is a good point to start The Mulroy Drive, a 35 km route of outstanding natural beauty which takes you around the beautiful Mulroy Bay.
James Buchanan, the 15th President’s father, came from the town and emigrated to America in 1783.
