Dun Bhaloir & An Tor Mor Viewpoint
On the furthest eastern corner of Tory island, you will find Dun Bhaloir which was an iron age fort surrounded on three sides by 90-meter high cliffs and only accessible by a narrow strip of land
Here jutting out from the side of Dun Bhaloir you get fantastic views over the An Eochair (The Anvil) an outstanding 400-metre-long rock ridge sticking out into the Atlantic ocean. At the far end of the ridge, called An Tór Mór you can see a cairn visible on the top.
