Inch Wildfowl Reserve
Inch Wildfowl Reserve is of international importance, with its Lagoon, marsh, wetlands and grasslands.
The reserve hosts a wide range of birds all year long and it provides a perfect habitat for the wide range of birds who come here for the winter, in their thousands.
There are four bird hides placed around the reserve.
The Reserve includes a popular 8km looped path with seating, viewpoints and a number of bird hides open to the public. The path is flat and can be used for walking, running and cycling.
It will soon be connected to the North West Greenway enabling a traffic-free journey from the reserve to Buncrana, Newtoncunningham and Derry.
