St Colmcilles Abbey
The ruins of the 10th-century Colmcille’s abbey can be found on the hillside overlooking Lough Gartan, Lough Nacally and Lough Akibbon.
At the site, you will also find the ruins of St Colmcille’s Chapel which was built in the 16th century by Manus O’Donnell. This location is also the clan burial ground for the O’Donnell’s
