Profile
Lough Inshagh Walk
The Lough Inshagh Walk is a 7km linear walk that takes you from the banks of Lough Veagh over the hills past Lough Inshagh and down to the Birthplace of St Colmcille’s birthplace in Gartan. If you are lucky you may see some of the park’s deer and look out for the Golden Eagles that have been released in the park.
The start of the walk is part way along the Lakeside Walk and is 1km from the castle and 2.5 km from the visitor centre.
You can check out all the latest details from the National park on their Facebook page here.
